Monthly Review - October '17 on

EN | It actually feels like 2018 is nearly here. But today I want to share with you all the great things I’ve done in October. Who else can’t believe that it’s already November?! I’ve been in Milan, Nice and Cannes, Berlin as well and have been to university nearly the rest of the time last month.

Where at?

EN | October started quite amazing with the second part of our little the roadtrip. On the first of October we ate breakfast in Cannes, checked out of our hotel room and walked a little bit trough the town and went a last time to the beach before we drive to Nice. After eating lunch in Nice and visiting the old town we drove straight to Milan where we stayed the night. The next day was all about exploring Milan and to go shopping. Little fun fact, at Zara an old lady asked me for the way ’cause she thought that I was working there. Haha and guess what, that literally happens to me everywhere I go on vacation. However it was also our last day on vacation so it was time to drive back home. Also there’s going a little travel diary online next week. So stay tuned for that!

Orange and Red for Fall

Orange and Red for Fall on #ootd #fall #orange #red

EN | One of the main color trends this season is definitely the color red. Every street style star, blogger and so on is rocking the trend in all kind of ways. But I mainly see outfits where red is in the focus. However the color can also work perfectly in combination with orange. Orange and Red are an amazing and eye-catching color combo especially for fall.
All the leaves are turning into the most amazing color combinations and there’s nothing more amazing than walking true the colorful woods on a sunny fall day. Besides all the different shades of brown there are also some red, orange and yellow leaves. So you can probably tell where the inspiration for this look and especially for the red/orange color combo came from. If red and orange are looking amazing together in the nature why not transform this to our wardrobes?

EN | It’s slowly getting colder and winter is coming closer and closer. So it’s time to start shopping for some late fall and also some winter pieces. On top of my list are some black overknees. I’m looking for a pair for a few years now but didn’t managed to find the perfect ones yet. Also I’m totally loving dark red at the moment. I think it’s the perfect fall/winter color, so it’s no surprise that I started to wear dark red nail polish again and I’m also started to wear some dark lipstick as well. What’s your favorite color to wear for fall/winter? There are also some funnier/colorful stripy pieces on my list. Stripes are definitely a basic print everybody needs in their wardrobe if you ask me. And it’s also nice to have some more colorful (stripy) pieces to add an eye-catching piece to a basic/casual look. So how do you like my picks and what’s on your shopping list at the moment?

Milan Streetstyle

Milan Streetstyle on #ootd #milan #streetstyle

EN |20 hours in Milan. And what is the first thing a fashion blogger probably does in Milan? Yes you’ve got it right! Take some outfit pictures in front of the Duomo di Milano. And guess what that is exactly what I did when I’ve been there.
Our roadtrip ended with one night in Milan. We left Cannes around 11am and drove for lunch to Nice. Also we wanted to check out the old town because everybody said that it’s beautiful. And as Nice was on our direct way to Milan why not stop there for a few hours. After leaving Nice at early afternoon we arrived at our hotel in Milan in the evening.
It was my first time in Milan so the first things on my list were definitely to see the Duomo di Milano (take some pictures in front of it) and visit the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Before telling you more about our trip and about Milan I want to show you the pictures we took in front of the Duomo di Milano with me and like 1 million other tourists.
However I’m quite happy about how the pictures turned out and how perfect the colors of my outfit fits to the background. As Milan is a quite stylish city, I wanted to wear something timeless. I actually have to say that I’m always super inspired by the architecture and the flair of a city when it comes to what I wear. A striped shirt, a black skinny jeans and a trench coat are the perfect timeless but stylish things to wear and fits perfectly to the whole vibe of Milan if you ask me. So how do you like this look and what do you think about the pictures?

Monthly Review - September '17 on

EN | It literally felt like September just went by super fast. September was not only the last month of my internship but also the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Studying again actually fells weird in a positive way. If you have been working full-time for a bit and go to university afterwards again, it’s something completely different. However I’m really looking forward to the next two years.

Continue reading

Port Grimaud

Port Grimaud on #ootd #france #portgrimaud

EN | Autumn definitely already started in Germany a few weeks ago. But I’ve still tones of pictures from our road trip that I wanna share with you. So be prepared for some summer vibes here over the next week.
The first ones are some outfit pictures from Port Grimaud. Port Grimaud is a cute little port/village. There is a really touristic site on one part of the port and the other site is completely quite. As I’m personally not the biggest fan of these typical touristic places I liked the quite part of the port a lot more! So if you’re going there I would highly recommend you to visited the not so touristic part of the village.
Before going there, I’ve already seen some pictures on Instagram with all the colorful houses there, so I wanted to wear something colorful as well. Therefore I decided to combine a simple striped blouse and my cute printed shorts. The outfit might seem simple but the print mix definitely make it more interesting. What do you think and how do you like this outfit?

Summer Days

Summer Days on #ootd #summer

EN | Happy Monday everyone! It definitely fells like decades since my last post here on the blog. The last one was actually nearly a month ago. Due to the last weeks of my internship, my vacation and also the start of my master studies I had a lot to do and to organize. However I haven’t forgotten you guys and I have a lot of content to share with you, so be ready!
As you may know I’m a big fan of denim on denim looks. And the moment I saw this denim shirt online I knew that I’m going to wear it a lot with other denim pieces. The weather was still really good when we took these pictures so I decided to combine the denim pieces with some colorful shorts and a simple white bag. How do you like this look?

Comfy Trousers and Off The Shoulder Vibes

EN | Bonn. End of August, when the weather was still quite good and not as freezing as it is right now. So you can obviously tell that I was quite busy the last few weeks, however I still wanted to share this late summer look with you.
Last weekend I’ve been to the Lollapalooza Festival in Berlin, I actually wanted to share this outfit right after the festival weekend. But after beeing there I needed some time to get back into my normal day to day routine. But now I finally have the feeling to be back in my everyday life, I still have some festival vibes going on, but also getting stuff from my to-do list done.
As I already told you the outfit pictures were taken when I was in Bonn visiting some of my blogger friends. And as the weather was quite nice, still a bit chilly but also a nice late summer day, I decided to go for some comfy trousers and an off the shoulder blouse. How do you like the outfit? And also what do you think about wearing a simple blouse as an off shoulder piece?

Monthly Review - August '17 on

EN | And again another month just gone by. It literally fells like I’m moaning about how fast the time is running every single month. Haha, so sorry about that! But please tell me that I’m not the only one complaining about that. At the moment I’m working a lot again and it’s also quite stressful at work (yep, still doing an internship). So that’s actually also the reason why this monthly review is a bit late. However I really like to share these kind of posts with you, don’t get me wrong sharing my outfits is still my favorite thing but it’s nice to get a bit more personal and tell you a bit more about the person behind this blog. And it’s also an amazing way to get to know you a bit more! So don’t forget to let me know what you’ve been up to in August!

EN | August is transition time. It’s getting colder but there are still some hot summer days left. It’s also the time of the year where you can start buying all the amazing fall/winter pieces. However that’s why I already have some pieces for the colder seasons on my shopping list but also still some summer stuff.
As you can see a lot of pieces contains the geometrical shape of a circle. The belt on the coat, the shape of the bag also reminds of a half circle and if this isn’t enough there is also a shirt with a polka dot print on my shopping list. Accessories with geometrical shapes are en vogue this fall/winter season. The geometrical trend especially the circle was definitely a little inspiration for my shopping list right now. I also have to say that I really love the geometrical trend. You can also see that the colors of the clothes are definitely more typical for the colder seasons: rose, blue and beige. I also have to admit that I’m really excited for fall, it’s definitely my favorite season when it comes to fashion!
